The course is designed for those required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisation’s policy and best practice in health and safety. Managing Safely’s target audience is people in an organisation who have to manage risk and resources. The course’s aim is to provide these people with the competencies they require.

CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace NHS09

All personnel who have an interest in/or have health safety related responsibilities in the workplace.

Risk Assessment NHS10

All who have to carry out risk assessments, including managers, supervisors or others who assist in the risk assessment process.

CIEH Principles of COSHH NHS11

Anyone for whom COSHH is an area of responsibility.

CIEH Principles of Manual Handling NHS12

Those people who carry out or supervise manual handling operations.

Manual Handling Instructor NHS13

This course is aimed at all employees who have been identified and/or selected to carry out ‘in-house’ instruction on Manual Handling.

Manual Handling NHS14

All indicated personnel required to carry out and/or supervise Manual Handling operations.

Abrasive Wheels Safety NHS15

Supervisors and other employees involved in the mounting, changing and safe use of Abrasive Wheels.

Abrasive Wheel Instructor NHS20

This course is aimed at all employees who have been identified and/or selected to carry out instruction on the safe use of Abrasive Wheels.

Noise at Work Regulations 2006 NHS21

Anyone whose work involves working in an area where the noise level may be detrimental to their health, and also those who manage and supervise them.

National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) SOU01

Health and Safety appointed representatives are faced with a constant battle against ever changing Health and Safety legislation and the impact on their respective organisations. In addition, EC regulations stipulate that Health and Safety representatives must be "competent" to perform the role.

CIEH Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness SOU02

The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is designed to help employees recognise fire safety issues in the workplace, and understand how to react when the fire alarm sounds.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles SOU03

The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles allows candidates to develop their basic fire safety awareness.

First Aid at Work (HSE approved) SOU04

All UK employers have a legal obligation to provide appropriate First Aid provision for their workforce, and many companies choose to have key staff trained as First Aiders. This course complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and has been approved by the Health and Safety Executive.

First Aid at Work Requalification (HSE approved) SOU05

The First Aid at Work Requalification course complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and has been approved by the Health and Safety Executive. It is aimed at First Aiders who hold a current three-year First Aid at Work certificate, but who are near the expiry date.

First Aid Basic Skills Update SOU06

This 3 hour session is designed to keep people trained in either First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at work (EFAW) up to date with the skills to carry out those roles. The HSE strongly recommends that people providing First Aid in the workplace have annual updates.

One Day Emergency First Aid SOU07

The One Day Emergency First Aid course is aimed at individuals who want to gain an overview of basic First Aid procedures. This course is also suitable for people who are acting as Appointed Persons at work.

IOSH Working Safely SOU08

Introducing a completely new approach to health and safety training. This presentation is designed to be fun and to get people fully involved and interested. We endeavour to inspire delegates in order to get them engaged with health and safety. Target Group Working safely is for people at any level, in any sector that need grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Working safely will not turn the delegates into safety experts. It focuses on why health and safety is important, and how they, as individuals, can make a difference.
